Bold Insight’s Bob Schumacher and Gavin Lew and uintent’s Tim Bosenick will present at the UX Masterclass on December 5, 2020. The conference will be held virtually and is hosted by PeepalDesign and UXalliance. The conference theme, The Changing Faces of UX: Global perspectives, will explore the intersection between designing experiences and emerging trends.
Bosenick’s talk, Employee Experience: Towards a human centric organization, will focus on an approach his team developed to cover the simultaneous optimization of user and employee experiences. He also hosts an international blog site to present employee experience on different levels (personal, psychological, social) and from different perspectives (experienced managers, IT-people, UX-people, consultants, start-ups).
Schumacher will present, Remote Testing, Teens, Parents, Pandemics …What could go wrong?, with Jonathan Abrams (User Researcher, Google). They will highlight the challenges experienced when conducting remote observations of user interviews with dyads of parents and children as young as nine years old. Schumacher and Abrams will discuss setup, methodological challenges, logistical hiccups, and technical hurdles and how they overcame these issues to deliver solid research results.
Lew is presenting The Time is Now for Humanizing AI which will discuss core elements needed for artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled products to succeed. Lew and Schumacher recently released a book focused on the topic, AI and UX: Why Artificial Intelligence Needs User Experience, published by Apress publishing.
